Disclosure of Grant and Contribution Awards
|Recipient Name:||Maison Isa – CALACS|
|Purpose:||This 36-month project aims to develop specific approaches to better address the multiple needs of women who are victims of sexual exploitation in the Saguenay–Lac-Saint-Jean region. The organization will invite health and social services, criminal justice, and police stakeholders to collaborate in developing a cross-sectoral strategy. The project will map out the main services and programs in the targeted area and will work in partnership to facilitate the adoption of a multidisciplinary approach in response to the multiple needs of sexually exploited women. The organization will also work to promote the recognition of sexual exploitation as a criminal offence to ensure better support for victims and will examine the implications of existing federal legislation around prostitution.|
