Disclosure of Grant and Contribution Awards
|Recipient Name:||Equal Voice|
|Purpose:||This 36-month project will seek to provide meaningful leadership opportunities for young women as they identify and advance issues directly impacting girls and womens equality. Through the project, young women will develop and deliver a total of five regional initiatives (Atlantic, West, North, Central, and Pacific) to address priority issues they have identified for action, and will engage in policy discussions with various levels of government. The young women will be supported through regional and national networks and on-line communities to enhance their leadership capacity and skills to collectively advocate for the advancement of the issues identified. Women in elected position from provinces and territories will also support the young women in carrying out their regional initiatives. Project results will be disseminated to all relevant stakeholders including levels of government.|
