|Recipient Name:||Société Inform'Elles Society|
|Location:||Vancouver, British Columbia|
|Purpose:||This 36-month project will seek to improve the coordination of support systems available to francophone women who have experienced violence in BC and the Yukon. An advisory committee that includes the provincial/territorial offices responsible for French language and anti-violence community based organizations will identify best practices and recommended approaches to address gaps in existing supports. The organization, along with provincial/territorial and community based stakeholders, will design and pilot a framework to ensure the accessibility of culturally appropriate, French services for a diversity of francophone women. The project will be implemented in partnership with the provincial/territorial umbrella organizations responsible for advocating on behalf of Francophone women in BC and the Yukon. Project results and promising practices will be disseminated through these networks across the region.|
