|Recipient Name:||Lowertown Community Resource Centre - City for All Women Initiative|
|Purpose:||This 36-month project will seek to improve the economic security of women and girls by addressing the gendered impacts of poverty in Ottawa. In collaboration with local womens organizations, the organization will apply an intersectional gender-based analysis to develop recommendations on poverty reduction measures. Key stakeholders will also be engaged in identifying strategies to influence policies, practices, services and budgets in Ottawas municipal institutions to increase their effectiveness for women and girls. The organization and local womens organizations will then engage with local elected officials, institutional staff and city-wide Boards, as well as potential electoral candidates, to influence change at the local level in policies, services and practices|
