Purpose: This 36-month project will work to prevent violence against immigrant women and girls in Vancouver by improving access to prevention and response services. Women, girls and community agencies will collaborate to establish local action plans and community initiatives. Stakeholders, such as settlement agencies and victim services, will implement strategic actions to improve service delivery and respond to issues of gender inequality amongst visible minority communities. Project results will be evaluated and shared with stakeholders. Community-led networks will be created and sustained to foster ongoing community knowledge exchange. Supplement: MOSAIC is one of 15 organizations participating in a pilot project with SAMETRICA to develop a social impact measurement framework for projects funded under the call for proposal theme Working in Partnership to End Violence Against Women and Girls.The supplement will extend the 12 month evaluation pilot to 36 months, in order to effectively capture results for the full length of the projects of all participating organizations.
