Purpose: This 24-month project will improve access to services for women and girls who are survivors of the human trafficking industry in Halton and surrounding regions in Ontario. Through collaboration with women and stakeholders such as law enforcement, rehabilitation centres, shelters, and legal and medical services, an integrated service strategy and client-centred model will be developed, piloted, and evaluated to provide improved crisis, short-term, and long-term support to survivors.
