Disclosure of Grant and Contribution Awards
|Recipient Name:||Quebec Native Women Inc.|
|Purpose:||This 36-month project will work to eliminate violence against young women and girls by incorporating prevention practices in Aboriginal educational institutions in Quebec. In collaboration with Aboriginal youth and partners, strategies to address violence against young women and girls and a model of conflict resolution will be developed and piloted in Institution Kiuna (Aboriginal college) prior to being implemented in high schools. Knowledge, best practices, and project results will be shared with Aboriginal educational stakeholders to ensure that they are replicated in other high schools in the province.|
