Disclosure of Grant and Contribution Awards
|Recipient Name:||DisAbled Women's Network/Reseau d'action des femmes handicapées (DAWN-RAFH) Canada|
|Purpose:||This 33-month project will work to develop coordinated response strategies to better address the needs of women with disabilities and deaf women experiencing violence in British Columbia, Ontario, and Quebec. With support from a National Advisory Committee, provincial working groups will implement a common approach for reviewing existing policies and programs, analyzing gaps in services, and considering best practices and proven models. Response strategies will be developed in consultation with key stakeholders, including policy-makers and service providers, and best practices will be shared nationally for replication across Canada.|
