Purpose: This 36-month project will identify opportunities to coordinate existing services and create new resources to better meet the needs of victims of gender-based violence. It will engage women, girls, men, boys, community organizations and key stakeholders in developing and linking protocols between primary and secondary responders to intimate partner violence through a coordinated community response in Fort Saskatchewan. The project will support the establishment of protocols for consistent and comprehensive service provision for victims of gender-based violence. Streamlined screening tools will also be developed and piloted for service providers.
