Purpose: This 36-month project will support survivors of honour-based violence from diverse ethno-cultural communities in Edmonton through the establishment of a comprehensive referral protocol. In partnership with women, service providers, and religious institutions, a culturally relevant service delivery model will be developed, piloted and evaluated by local social service agencies. A formal support network of service agencies will be established to provide access to shared services and comprehensive referrals, and will serve as experts-in-training on the subject of honour-based violence in Edmonton.
