Disclosure of Grant and Contribution Awards
|Recipient Name:||Youth Employment Services|
|Purpose:||This 30-month project will work to improve the economic prosperity of women in the sectors of science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) through the development of a formal mentorship model. This model will promote job retention and advancement for Anglophone women working in Montreal-based small and medium-sized STEM enterprises. The needs of these women will be reviewed and a gender-specific mentorship model will then be developed and piloted in two companies. Once the model has been piloted, the organization will support other interested Montreal SMEs in the STEM sectors in implementing the mentorship model.|
