Disclosure of Grant and Contribution Awards
|Recipient Name:||St. Stephens Community House|
|Purpose:||This 24-month project will engage girls and young women in Toronto in identifying and addressing cyberviolence. Front-line agencies will partner to engage local school boards, and community and women's organizations in the project. A team of young women will assist in conducting a needs assessment to understand the issue, including an examination of the recruitment of girls and young women into the sex trade through social media. The findings of the needs assessment will be used to inform the development of a strategy to address cyberviolence against young women and girls in their community.|
