Purpose: | This 24-month project will work with girls and community agencies and stakeholders to address the issue of cyberviolence against women and girls in Mississauga and the Peel Region in Ontario. A community-based advisory group will carry out a needs assessment to increase knowledge and to support the development of a local strategy to address the issue. The project will also develop and strengthen peer networks of girls to act as "ambassadors" to schools and youth groups in the community to encourage their participation in the project. |
