Purpose: This 24-month project will identify barriers and other factors that limit the ability of stakeholders to prevent and eliminate cyberviolence against girls in Gatineau. Secondary school students will be engaged to identify the specific needs of girls and increase their understanding of this form of gender-based violence. The project will build collaboration between police, schools and other community partners to develop and implement strategies to address cyberviolence against girls. This partnership will allow for knowledge-sharing and the development of common response protocols to respond to this issue.
