Purpose: This 24-month project will enhance the economic prosperity of French-speaking immigrant women in the Greater Toronto area of Ontario. It will build partnerships and collaboration between community organizations and other stakeholders to better identify and respond to immigrant women’s economic needs. Stakeholders will work together to identify priorities and promising opportunities within their community, and will coordinate their efforts to address the specific economic needs of immigrant women. A strategic plan will be developed to address both the barriers facing women, and also the challenges that stakeholders encounter in assisting them to integrate into the local economy.
