Purpose: This 24-month project will enhance the economic prosperity of immigrant women in the Region of Peel, Ontario. It will build partnerships and collaboration between community organizations and other stakeholders to better identify and respond to immigrant women’s economic needs. Stakeholders will work together to review existing economic development supports available to immigrant women and identify priorities and promising opportunities within their community. To support the development of multi-stakeholder strategies to address the specific economic needs of immigrant women, the project will research proven practices and models, including international examples.
