Purpose: This 24 month national project will develop and/or adapt existing tools to enable Muslim women, girls, men, and boys as well as other community members of diverse ethno-racial backgrounds, to critically analyze violence against women in their communities (ex. harmful cultural practices) and their impact as they relate to Canadian law. It will enable community, government, and professional service providers to support clients of diverse ethno-racial backgrounds deal with these forms of violence.
