Purpose: This 36-month project is designed to increase and improve the leadership capacity and media representation of New Brunswick’s Francophone women leaders. The project will work with the media in Acadie, New Brunswick with the aim of educating the media about the importance of women’s representation in the media and providing access to female experts. The key activities include a series of workshops for women leaders on creating news and media appearances, establishing mentorships, developing tools for journalists and creating a website with key information for women and the media.
