Disclosure of Grant and Contribution Awards
|Recipient Name:||Regina Immigrant Women Centre|
|Purpose:||This 36-month project will develop and implement inter-agency protocols and training modules for agencies in Regina to effectively respond to the needs of immigrant and refugee women affected by family violence. The culturally-based protocols will provide a formal mechanism by which organizations can work together to meet the specific needs of women who are newcomers by promoting consistency across systems and agencies in the identification and response to violence. The project will also directly assist immigrant and refugee women impacted by family violence to develop individualized action plans to help increase their safety and move towards a violence free life.|
