Purpose: This is a participant-led pilot project to assist current and former sex trade workers to reintegrate into mainstream society. The project’s activities will support the development and implementation of a women-centred, holistic program of healing that is fully endorsed by the participants. Participants will include women who are residents in the organization’s recovery house as well as other women from the community. Project activities include one-to-one counselling, group counselling, assistance with housing, pre-employment training, and participation in volunteer opportunities.
Comments: Multi-year project of 36 months.
