Purpose: This project will give low-income women in the Prairies and British Columbia the tools they need to plan for a financially sustainable future through planning and setting financial goals, reduced anxiety around financial management and the ability to control personal finances. Momentum will use its money management curriculum to train service providers in 20 women’s organizations. These trainers will then pilot and/or tailor the training to suit the needs of the women they serve. The project’s objective is to increase the money management skills and knowledge of 140 women living on low incomes.
Comments: Multi-year project of 24 months.
