| Purpose: | This 17-month project seeks to improve the safety of 1,000 women victims of violence who are in transition through additional tools for 49 Francophone women working in the Ontario Transitional and Housing Support Program, used by women going through a divorce or separation. These tools will enable the workers to answer the women’s questions at a time when they are particularly vulnerable. The tools will inform the women about: their rights with regard to housing; accessing social assistance; legal services; strategies available to them; and potential aids for returning to normal life as quickly as possible. |
