Purpose: The Access to Justice for Family Law project aims to address barriers faced by rural women (mainly senior women and the working poor) when seeking legal services in order to leave abusive relationships. Project activities include workshops, information sessions and resources, peer support, and mentoring to help women understand the legal system as it relates to family law in order to assist them to make appropriate decisions while attempting to leave abusive relationships.
