Purpose: Located in three regions of Quebec, Project EARTH will provide a skill acquisition program to 20 women (16 immigrant and four Quebec-born) who are alienated and living below the poverty line. The women will become socially integrated into the host society through employability improvement and participation in community life. The project will last 46 weeks, including training preparation and evaluation. Le Théâtre des petites lanternes’ credibility has attracted an impressive list of partners, and it has established ties with 58 employers in the Estrie area.
