Purpose: This project was proposed by Femme Équité Atlantique and will be managed by the Association des aînées et aînés francophones du Nouveau-Brunswick. “Rencontre des Générations” will find solutions to the barriers faced by young women (16 to 30 years of age) and older women (50 years and over) of Acadian and other Francophone origin from every walk of life who reside in a minority official language community in the Atlantic provinces. This model of intergenerational consultation and mentorship can be adapted for use in other parts of Canada.
Comments: Multi-year project for 3 years (2007-2010).
