Purpose: The purpose of this group's project is to improve the social and economic situation of women with disabilities living in Prescott-Russell, and to promote their full participation in, and particularly their integration into, various sectors of social and economic activity in the region. The project has reached Phase Two, which will implement the recommendations of Phase One by means of a strategy with two components: (1) development of new means of co-operation among women with disabilities and sectors of social and economic activity; (2) a massive awareness campaign (round table discussions, workshops, and day-long forums) with social and economic decision-making bodies in Prescott-Russell.
