Purpose: This 36-month project will improve access to prevention and intervention services for girls and young women who are victims of sexual assault in the Southern Golf Islands. Through collaboration between women and key partners, best practices and barriers that prevent women from accessing existing services will be identified. An interdisciplinary approach and inter-agency protocols for response and collaboration will be developed and implemented to better respond to women’s needs. Knowledge, best practices, and project evaluation results will be shared with community stakeholders in the Southern Golf Islands.
