Purpose: This 36 month project will focus on retaining and advancing female scientists and engineers currently working in the oil and gas sector across Alberta. In collaboration with industry partners, sector-wide initiatives will be examined and an Alberta industry action plan will be developed with recommendations for creating more inclusive and supportive employment environments. Specific interventions will be piloted and evaluated with oil and/or gas employers in order to create sustainable opportunities to support the advancement of women in the sector.
