| Purpose: | This 30-month project will address the range of institutional barriers and other factors that limit community efforts to deal with the issue of trafficking of women and girls for the purpose of sexual exploitation in Edmonton, Alberta. The project represents a strategic partnership between four community organizations in the development of a multi-sector and collaborative action plan focused specifically on this form of trafficking. The project will work to integrate its plan and recommendations into the existing crime prevention initiatives in the city. |
