Purpose: This 24-month project will deliver innovative approaches to engaging men and boys in working to end violence against women and girls in the rural counties of West Hants, Kings and Annapolis in the western region of Nova Scotia. In partnership with local stakeholders such as community organizations, schools, law enforcement, and community youth, the project will identify the issues of violence affecting women and girls, and implement a sustainable engagement model to engage men and boys in addressing the issue of gender-based violence.
