Value: $225,000.00

Purpose: This 36-month project will establish a community plan for reducing and preventing violence against women and girls in La Tuque and surrounding villages, in the Mauricie region. The plan will target women of all ages, especially young women aged 12–18 and Aboriginal women, and will bring together key local and regional players in a partnership. The organization will set up an advisory group made up of women from the community and resource people to direct the work. A gender-based analysis will be carried out to determine the impact of violence on women.
