Purpose: This 28-month project will target gender based violence on campuses at Memorial University of Newfoundland, including Grenfell Campus in Corner Brook, and the Western Memorial Hospital School of Nursing. The Council will work to engage students, community partners, and entities such as student unions, campus enforcement and student housing to develop a strategy to prevent and address violence against female students. Partners will be engaged in the development and delivery of the action plan to ensure community collaboration and ownership in addressing violence against women in these campus communities.
