This is #MyFeminism

This is #MyFeminism

International Women's Day is a time to celebrate women's contributions here in Canada and around the world.

In celebration of this important day, we are asking everyone:

What does feminism mean to you?

Feminism is a call to action for everyone who believes in gender equality.

#MyFeminism is inclusive – it's about equality for all women and people of all genders.

#MyFeminism is intersectional – it's about empowering women and girls, and people of all genders, no matter the complexity of their experiences, to speak up and make their voices heard. It's as diverse as Canada.

But most of all, #MyFeminism is about possibility – because when we work together, when we truly value what we each bring to our communities, there is no limit to what we can achieve.

It's your turn! Share your stories using the hashtag #MyFeminism and tell us what feminism means to you.

Happy International Women's Day.
